The federal government wants to crack down on fake service animals on planes. By requiring all service animals to be professionally trained. But Janice Wolfe - founder and CEO of Merlin’s Kids - which has provided 13-hundred service dogs to people in need - says professional training can be expensive. And not necessarily done well.
So she has what she believes is a better approach. Forget about who does the training. But make sure the dog can pass a universal test.
